Don’t forget that it’s award celebration and our canned food drive this Saturday! If every member and coach brought in only 5 cans, we’d have a donation of over 4,000 canned goods! Think of how many families here in Franklin Township and our surrounding areas we could feed!!

We will be hosting our Canned Food Drive benefitting Servant’s Heart of Indy this Saturday 9/23. The winning team that brings the most canned goods will win a gift card for a team party at Chicago’s Pizza! Each CCFC team (LS, Rec, Select, and Travel) will collect canned food items such as tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, tuna, green beans, peas, corn, and soup. When dropping off your canned food donations, remember to let the volunteers know what your team name/age division is so that your team receives credit for the donation. We will divide the total donation by the number of players on the team to be fair when calculating donation amount. If you prefer to donate cash — $1 will be equivalent to 1 can of food. Canned goods/monetary donations will be collected on 9/23/23 from 8:00am – 4pm at the rec fields. Our goal is to surpass 2000lbs of food this season!
